Next Year's Gala takes Place on 

Saturday 7th June 2025

The day begins with the spectacular Poulton Gala Parade, setting off promptly at noon. Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere as the parade makes its way around the town. The festivities continue at Cottam Hall Playing Fields, transforming it into a hub of entertainment and joy for everyone to enjoy.

Join The Parade

The festivities kick off with our grand parade at 12 noon, a vibrant display of community and joy. Participate in the procession or cheer from the sidelines as it makes its way around the town, culminating at Cottam Hall Playing Fields around 13:00 – 13:30. It’s an experience not to be missed, embodying the spirit of Poulton.

Entertainment Begins at 2pm

Prepare for an afternoon of captivating live performances from 2pm. Our lineup features the best local artists and entertainers, ready to provide you with an unforgettable entertainment experience.

Gala Queen Crowning at 2.30pm

One of the day’s highlights is the crowning of the Gala Queen at 2:30pm. Join us in this tradition and celebrate the new Gala Queen's crowning moment.

Bar & Beer Garden

Enjoy a selection of beverages at our full bar and beer garden, courtesy of The Cube Bar. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the gala atmosphere.

Stay up to date with the latest news and announcements from Poulton Gala!

  • When does the parade start?
    The parade will leave promptly at noon and will take approximately 1 hour to walk round the town and back to Cottam Hall Playing Fields. The parade is anticipated to arrive back at Cottam Hall at approximately 13:00 – 13:30.
  • Where can I park?
    Please be considerate of our neighbours and try and walk or get dropped off where possible. Road closures will be in place around Poulton and Blackpool Old road will be closed from 12:00 until approx 13:30. There is no parking at Cottam Hall as the car park is used to setup the parade. The nearest pay and display car park is Wheatsheaf Way (behind The Poulton Elk Weatherspoons). Free parking is available at the Wyre Civic Centre car park (FY6 7PU). Time limits apply on the Booths / Teanlowe centre and Aldi car parks so please be aware.
  • Are there toilets available?
    We will have portaloos at Cottam Hall (Gents, Ladies and Disabled) as well as facilities available in the ATC Squadron 2459 building (a small fee / donation may apply).
  • Are Dogs Allowed?
    Dogs are allowed but must be on a lead and under control at all times.
